this monthly cooking workshop series, sharing to cook, is about emphasizing the value of horizontal knowledge transfer and highlighting the diversity of tastes and cultures in amsterdam. each workshop is centred around a seasonal vegetable. this first edition will feature alliums. unlike traditional workshops with a single instructor, you can join and share your own skills and knowledge about cooking. bring along a recipe that holds personal significance for you, featuring the chosen ingredient of that workshop. feel free to send us a list of additional ingredients you need for your dish ahead of the workshop, or you can bring them yourself. during the first half of the workshop everyone will prepare their chosen recipe. the second half will be a shared meal, during which everyone presents their dishes, explains their cooking techniques, and shares the stories behind them. price: €3.5 per participant. you can sign up for one (or many!) of the workshops by sending us an email: theland.amsterdam@gmail.com
